Past roles

Much of Sam’s early career was spent in the UK aerospace and defence sector. Since then, Sam has led businesses across Europe, North America, and Brazil, gaining experience in diverse industries including airports, rail, power networks, automotive, media, and education. Sam joined Costain from Babcock International Group, where over a decade Sam held senior leadership roles spanning defence, energy, and engineering services. Prior to this, Sam held leadership positions at BAE Systems and began their career with General Dynamics and Leonardo Helicopters.
