We’ll be a net zero organisation by 2025.
Mitie is committed to achieving net zero carbon across the business by 2025 for scope 1 and 2 emissions, and scope 3 by 2035. In April 2023, we received validation from the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) for near-term and long-term carbon reduction targets. At the time we were among just 219 organisations worldwide to achieve this.

Mitie has an industry-leading net zero strategy. From reducing waste via the circular economy, to switching to an electric vehicle fleet and increasing biodiversity, our plans are well underway.
